Eddie, I idolised you when I was a kid growing up and couldn’t wait for our yearly winter trips to Stawell to visit you and Aunty Pam. You taught me so much, how to drive manual which later on I really needed because I was thrown a manual ute to drive into the city when I was an apprentice and had no other training other than what you had showed me, you taught me how to shoot which I used when I was in the Defence Force, how to catch yabbies, trout, rabbits, sheer a sheep but other than all that mate you taught me to be a good bloke. I always think of my time with you both as winter rolls around every year and I will until I join you for a beer, it’s my shout!!
