Passed away at Eventide Homes, Stawell on Dec. 19th 2021 Aged 103 Years Beloved Husband to Dorothy ( Dec ) , Loved father to Colin ( Dec ) Brother to Mac, Albert, Ern, Jean & Don ( All Dec ) Respected Uncle to Allison, Bill, Helen, Peter, Brian, Rodney & Families. The Funeral of the late Mr Keith Phillips will be held at Stawell Uniting Church on Thursday Dec. 23rd 2021 commencing at 11.00am followed by burial at the Stawell Cemetery. Live Streaming will be available via our website.

  2. Dearest Uncle Keith, you always said an orange a day was the key to good health and longevity. I dare say we will all be buying oranges a little bit more often.
    No Christmas or trip back to Stawell will ever be the same. You were always on our visit list. You were always at our Christmas table for lunch. You’d bring in your neatly wrapped roses chocolates without fail and your hand writing was magnificent- a dying art in this modern world now. You could hold a great conversation about world news or the stock market right till the end and it was admired by everyone who spent time with you.

  6. I remember uncle Keith wound be at every Christmas gathering in Stawell I attended from when I was 5 to my last , a man who was always ready for a chat no matter what the topic. I remember an early memory of him traveling by him self to stay with us in Singleton and attending my Athletics carnival. Thanks Uncle Keith !!

  9. Dearest Uncle Keith, We all admired how knowledgeable & switched on you were are such a great age, you never forgot a thing & were always interested in what was happening in our lives.

    Christmas just won’t be the same without you. Listening to your stories & gifting us with your perfectly wrapped boxes of Milk tray chocolates will definitely be missed, the wrapping was millimetre perfect, it was the best part of the gift by far!

    Rest In Peace Uncle Keith, you will be sadly missed by us all & you will always be remembered as the remarkable, gentleman that you were.

    I always loved seeing on our trips to Stawell, sadly not enough of those in recent years..Your brilliant conversation and genuine interest in everything and everyone was always a highlight.
    I remember these times with great fondness and will hold them close to my heart always.
    You will be missed.

    I’m proud to be related to such a remarkable man and family.
    We weren’t able to be with you as often as we’d like but every time was special.

  13. Uncle Keith has been a part of our family holidays my whole life. This is the reality of living interstate and mostly apart from your extended family. We have been comforted knowing that Keith, in his later years, has had support and assistance from our much loved Stawell family. Thank you.
    In recent years, he has been our link to my nan and pop and his generation, and we will miss visiting him. He was a great conversationalist, always interested in what was happening in our lives and the world at large.
