Passed away at Eventide Homes, Stawell on Jan. 12th 2021 , Dearly loved wife to Brian, Loving mother to Donna, Julie, David & Families. The Funeral of the late Mrs Barbara Hurley will leave Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Stawell after a service commencing at 1.30pm Friday Jan. 15th 2021 for the Stawell Cemetery.

So many great memories of our family lives together as we grew up. Trips to the farm at the Black Ranges, pillow fights at night until grandpa spoke sternly, exploring the rocky outcrops in the ranges and wondering if ‘Bunjil’ did ever live in that cave? The the local dances as a teenager and the ‘axemens carnivals’ when us kids would all trip off to compete against nearby country towns. Greatest honour was to be Barbra’s debutante partner the night she celebrated it at the Town Hall.
The stories could go on of such great memorable times we had growing up as country folk.
Unfortunately Ann and myself are unable to be there today for the service. We have recently shifted into a retirement village and I am on the Committee and we have two meetings this afternoon – one that I have arranged to bring along a possible ‘Exercise Instructor’ for the village.. Our condolences and remember the good times. Will see you when next in Stawell.
