Cazaly – Peter Wayne

3rd July 1958 – 6th July 2022 , Dearly loved husband of Maureen & Vicki (Dec), Proud and loving father to Adam, Jason, Luke, Ben, Cam & Families. A Funeral Service will be held at Cato Park, Stawell on Friday July 15th 2022 at 11.00am followed by burial at the Stawell Cemetery. Note : For those advised that Live Streaming of Peter’s Service would be available , this will now not be possible or any recording of the service, we apologize for those advised that this service would be available.


  1. Fond memories of a next door neighbour and mate. Many a good session over the fence. RIP Peter

  2. Pete was a great Sergeant to work for because he led by (a good) example, he had a great sense of humour and he was always up front and honest with you, so you knew where you stood with him. Sad to hear the new of his passing.

  3. To a very special and long time friend of over 50 years. You were our best man at our wedding and godfather to our daughter carly. We will miss you Peter and i will miss our chats and our jokes between one another.
    You will be forever in our thoughts and very much missed. Xxx💕

That final phone call a week before Pete passed away meant so much, I could hear how difficult it was for him, but Pete, I did what you asked and had a wine in your memory when I heard the news that you’d started the next step in your journey. My sincere condolences to Maureen and family, extended family, Pete’s work colleagues and friends. R.I.P. Cazza.

  12. Very saddened to hear the news of Pete’s passing. A great fella with a cheeky laugh, you just never knew what he was up too! Fond memories of him at WangarattaTMU. Deepest condolences to all his family. R.I.P Pete.

  13. So hard to write this. Too soon. I’ve lost a brother, mate and confidante. We joined Cadets at 16 years and spoke almost daily up to the end. Our last meeting at Ballarat Hospital where we toasted our friendship, held each other and told each other how much we loved and meant to each other. Godfather to our eldest daughter Kathryn. You’ll always be with me my friend. Rest In Peace. Condolences to Maureen and all the boys.

  17. So sad to hear of Peter’s passing. We had only recently caught up again after years of living away. That was a great catch up after all this time since secondary school.
